Abomination Vaults | Episode 15 | Delayed Consequences

After clearing most of the library the party found the bottom entrance to an elevator that had a moss-caked skull for an activation switch. Thasa went to activate it and was reminded of horrible emotional trauma she suffered in her childhood as the book they had retrieved in the ghoul necromancer’s lair began to whisper and emanate a black mist. Kamui grabbed the book and in a moment’s notice was possessed by the book as everyone in the room looked like his master that betrayed him back in Tien Xia as Kamui went to strike at his fellow party members. Even though Kamui was clearly under possession, Leasus flew into a bloodrage, nearly killing Kamui. After an awkward encounter before the rest of the party was able to dispel the possession the party began to walk back to Otari. Well, they would have, but that’s when the Guauntlight shined its beam upon the graveyard of Otari and started raising the undead!
